FAQ

SpecBeacon FAQ

What does SpecBeacon do?

SpecBeacon helps you estimate how a PC game should run on your hardware and what upgrade is most likely to improve your frame rate target.

Is SpecBeacon Score a critic aggregate?

No. SpecBeacon Score is an internal reaction summary built from approved source signals. It is not Metacritic, OpenCritic, or an official publisher score.

Why can a game page change over time?

Game pages are updated when benchmark rows, official requirements, source signals, or cover assets are corrected, added, or removed.

Does the site guarantee FPS results?

No. The site provides practical estimates and upgrade guidance, not a guaranteed hardware outcome.

How are ads handled?

If ads are enabled, they will be treated as a business layer only. Ads will not change source selection, benchmark interpretation, or game-page recommendations.

How can I request a correction?

Use the contact page email to report a factual correction, source issue, or broken asset. Pages may be updated after review.
