How SpecBeacon FPS estimates work

SpecBeacon is not a generic “can I run it” badge. It compares the GPU, CPU, RAM, resolution, and target FPS you pick against benchmark rows already stored in the catalog.

  • GPU is the strongest signal and usually matters most for the estimate.
  • CPU, RAM, and resolution help narrow the estimate when multiple rows are close.
  • Target FPS changes the recommendation layer more than the raw estimate itself.
  • If coverage is thin, the product shows lower-confidence guidance instead of pretending certainty.

Official system requirements help establish baseline rows, while benchmark-backed rows improve how close the estimate can get to real performance.
